On Thursday, July 13, 2017, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar visited Faculty of Social and Political Sciences Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta to learn about the Governance of Internationalization Program Benchmarking. In this visit, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar led by the Dean of Faculty of Social and Political Sciences Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar Dr. H. Muhammad Idris, M.Si proposed a plan to establish an international program and benchmarking this program in UMY including IGOV. In addition, the Head of Governmental Science Department Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar Dr. Andi Luhur Prianto also held an audience with the head of the Master Program of Government Affairs and Administration or MIP UMY to share about the governance of internationalization program of MIP UMY which was evaluated to be carried out effectively and efficiently. Dean of Faculty of Social and Political Sciences Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta Dr. Titin Purwaningsih welcomed the benchmark visit from Faculty of Social and Political Sciences Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar by emphasizing on the aspect of managing good networking relationships with university partners abroad. This event is one of the many events that proves the unity and helpful spirit within and among Muhammadiyah Campuses as they work to promote better governance and internationalization prospects.
