Wednesday, September 27, 2017. Electoral Managemen Body of Bantul regency held a socialization of the 2019 electoral stages simultaneously for political parties and related stakeholders in Bantul Regency. This socialization was held at Ros Hotel in Bantul and this event directly welcomed by the chairman of Electoral Management Body of Bantul regency Muhammad Johan Komara, S.IP who is one of the students at MIP UMY. Furthermore, this socialization event was followed by the signing of MOU of pioneering democracy village activities between, UMY, IRE, and three pilot project villages. In this socialization, MIP UMY Lecturers. Dr. Suranto M.Pol and Drs. H. Bambang Eka Cahya Widodo, M.Si. (Former chairman of BAWASLU RI in 2008-2012) served as speakers on this activity. In the end of this event, open forum ensued from the participants.
