Wednesday, August 30, 2017 MIP conducted coordination meeting of Democracy Pioneer Village with Research and Empowerment Institution (IRE) and KPU of Bantul Regency. This coordination meeting discussed the democratic class preparation to be held in 3 villages in Bantul District. The purpose of this democratic class is to provide conceptual, substantial, and technical understanding of the implementation of village democracy, citizenship, and the concept of village democratization in the Village Law. The expected outcome of this activity is to strengthen the role of government and society in building awareness to participate in the development of village democracy. This activity plan will be implemented by the end of 2017.
