On 18-27 July 2019, Eko Priyo Purnomo, Ph.D, as a lecturer in Master of Government Affairs and Administration Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta received an invitation to do a “fellow” at the University of Maryland. Previously, Eko Priyo Purnomo, Ph.D., had conducted the selection for this activity and was declared qualified to take part in a “fellow” at the University of Maryland. “Fellow” activities are supported by the Henry Luce Foundation who are ready to finance the participants trips. In this activity joint research and joint publications on environmental policy will be conducted with Prof. Klaus Hubacek who is a lecturer at the University of Maryland’s Department of Geographic Sciences. It is expected that this joint research can provide studies and knowledge in the field of the environment and can be used as a reference in subsequent studies.
