On Friday, August 26, 2017, UMY held an Inauguration of Prof. Dr. Achmad Nurmandi as the new professor for Government Affairs and Administration Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta which attended by many important colleagues from National and International University Partners, Government Officials, Mass Media, Lecturers, and Students. Prof. Nurmandi also known as the director of JKSG, Professor has brought department of Government Affairs and Administration Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta to be center of excellence leadership. Under Jusuf Kalla School of Government (JKSG), department of Government Affairs and Administration grows rapidly with high performance achievements both nationally and internationally. Part of the university entity, performance and achievement that is built is a simultaneous performance that is being built with caution to maintain public confidence. JKSG UMY aims to promote strong and effective leadership towards democratic governance.

In addition, JSKG Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta also consistently educates politicians, bureaucrats, and civil society through learning, knowledge, skills and attitude in governance capacity which is in line with Prof. Nurmandi’s speech in his professor inauguration. Quoting from Qur’an, Prof. Achmad Nurmandi delivered speech to tell us that Trust, Leadership, Collective Action for Amanah Governance are the main keys to run the organization.
