Friday, 31 March, 2017 MIP UMY held MIP Chapter in Postgraduate Building UMY. the theme of this discussion is about the middle class politics of indonesian muslim with speaker Wasisto Raharjo Jati (Middle-class Political LIPI Researcher, Civil Society, and Political movements). In this discussion examines the context of middle-class Muslims in a social and political perspective. This discussion also noticed that the middle class politics of indonesian muslim is still attempting to establish the existence and political representation with the attempts to adapt modernity. In this context, the present circumstances Islamic symbolizing also remains dominant in show of solidarity everyday. The event was attended by lecturers, IP UMY, MIHI, other Universities. This discussion will be continued to book surgery on 13 April, 2017 which is a form of cooperation between MIP, IP, and also JKSG.
