Consequentially, She was able to witness with admiration of both the educational dedication and real-world application of management principles by UMY and MIP. IRO as well deserves recognition as well for providing support to international students throughout their stay.

For a meaningful life, do things that 60-year-old you would approve of; Take risks, learn, love,  care, say no, embrace your fears, live truthfully, heal. Nevermind the rest." -S.H.B.

Ken M. Haictin

Ken M. Haictin as one of the second batch of students from MSU-IIT to be having their dual-degree program in MGAA-UMY. Ken was able to get a Scholarship from UMY that was enough for his expenses, and MGAA was provided a free stay in the university's dorm. Plus, they was provided with a bicycle as my transport to the campus. The International Relations Office (IRO) was helpful, as well. Some of IRO's staff has become dear to me; they have been a good friend. As a graduate student, the MGAA program was an excellent choice. Firstly, the program introduced him to Indonesia and its diverse culture. It was a boon of reflections on his part.

"The Dual Degree Program of Masters of Public Administration of  Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology (MPA-MSU-IIT) and Masters of Government Affairs and Administration of Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (MGAA-UMY) was just wishful thinking to me before—before when I just peaching comic skits of my future. And surprise! On February 10, 2020, I caught myself laughing while doing my self-made sign language to order a nasi goreng that is not spicy"- Ken.
